As a member of Butler University DECA, you have the opportunity to compete in a variety of different competitive events. Competing gives you the opportunity to advance both your technical and professional skills in your area of choice and bring home coveted DECA glass. Events areas span Entrepreneurship, Hospitality & Tourism, Marketing, Finance, and Business Management.

Butler University DECA participates in many conferences around the country that give students the opportunity to develop professional and leadership skills. In addition, competitive members have the chance to compete at the State and International Career Development Conferences. Professional Mentorship

As a competitive member of Butler University DECA, you will have many personal and professional tools at your disposal. If you participate in a prepared business presentation, you will be matched with an industry mentor to help prepare for competition and give career advice. Be sure to utilize them in order to win glass at the International Career Development Conference!
